Shutter Speed. fun times.

Shutter speed controls how fast the shutter opens and exposes light to the sensor and film. The longer the shutter is open, the brighter the picture will be. The shorter the shutter is left open, the darker the picture will be. Shutter speed is noted in seconds such as 1/100, and 1/60. Also, you must take into consideration the speed of the object you are taking a picture of. The faster the object moves, the faster you have to make the shutter speed.
